CLIENT:
We initially worked with Rand Chartered Surveyors on the design of their new website. Directors Nigel and Andrew approached SWW with a desire to create a website that reflected the high level of service they offer their clients.
The characteristics of the previous Rand website included a single page exhibiting all the relevant information accessible via scrolling down the page. We have worked to design a multiple page website, including a modern and slick landing page. We focussed on visual imagery on the landing page – a timelapse and a cityscape of London. We have also created pages for every service page offered by Rand Chartered Surveyors, as well as ‘About Us’, ‘Contact Us’, ‘News & Insights’, and ‘Careers’. We are also working on improving the content on the website by expanding on the existing literature to create a more detailed but fully SEO keyword optimised website to improve the search engine rankings.
Additionally, we will be working with Rand Surveyors to develop a presence on social media, specifically ‘LinkedIn’. We have identified LinkedIn as a target platform for the firm because of both Andrew and Nigel’s existing presence on the platform whereby they both exceed 500+ connections and therefore the potential reach of either of them sharing a post from a Rand Surveyors page will be effective. Secondly, LinkedIn is a great platform for professional services such as surveyors so the pool of potential clients for Rand Surveyors makes a strong, consistent LinkedIn presence a no brainer. We will be sharing frequent updates of work carried out by members of the team, industry news and company information. We will also be consistently directing LinkedIn users to the website by posting links to blog posts on the platform, further increasing the traffic to the website and therefore improving search engine rankings.
